Wow this luxury houseboat is amazing! Just fantastic to have this kind of renovated space on water. Here in the UK I have seen many fantastic barges renovated and hundreds of people in the UK reside permanently on barges. However this luxury houseboat is just incredible it really is a house on the water. Fantastic high ceilings and amazing space to live, work and sleep in.

Toke Larsen renovated the houseboat, turning what was simply a scrap-metal box into something really special. The luxury houseboat is in Copenhagen and boasts a host of eco friendly ideas including under floor heating, cavity wall insulation and eco paints. Also the houseboat renovation includes steel windows from an old factory and most things in the house are made by Toke himself including kitchen units and dinning table. Toke has some really great design ideas and his clean line style coupled with classic pieces really creates a sense of luxury.

Thanks for the nice words about my houseboat. I spend 3 years building it, and have now lived in the boat for 4 years. Its great living on water - My RIB boat is situated in front og the boat, with my wakeboard ready for a sail around Copenhagen. Since the pictures was taken, I have added a 90 sqm terasse on the top of the boat. including outdoor shower and plenty of room for a large dining table and the grill
