As our renovation work normally focuses on the house, over just a few years our garden has become seriously overgrown and I have spent the last few weeks doing some hardcore digging to remove brambles, bushes, old grass and some deep-rooted weeds.

So, with more daylight hours and a few nice sunny days I decided that this is the year to start sorting out the garden. To get inspiration I have been looking into some garden design ideas to work out what I want the end result to be.

Luckily the previous owners of our home (clearly far more green-fingered than us!) have put a lot of thought and hard work into the garden design. It features a fantastic garden wall and we have some beautiful plants in some of the borders - it just needs a lot of love, some modernisation and a lot of hard work and then it will be a great space.
